A message from Sam...

Michelle told me to write something here, so I will. The reality is I should be working on my next book which I need to turn in to my editor in a few weeks, but what Michelle asks...Michelle gets.

I can only speak for myself, but I have more fun shooting the show than doing almost anything else. It takes us about 4 hours from start to finish to shoot one 30 minute show. Not 4 hours of shooting, but 4 hours in total: setting up, talking, laughing, shooting, eating, shooting, laughing, swearing, eating, trying to get Kelly on camera when she's not prepared - you get the idea. I always know what I'm going to make - but apart from that there's very little planning. One question I get asked is whether or not I use a script - and I always reply the same, "does it look like I use a script?" There's definitely no script and no formal plan other than the food- and that's the way it works best. But I shouldn't write too much about this because we have a 'behind the scenes' show in the works. Right Pinky? btw, I call Michelle "Pinky". The point of this blog though was for her to be able to show a little of the behind the scenes stuff. And because we don't really like outsiders hanging around when we shoot, this seemed to be a good way to show the nonsense, I mean fun. Nope, I mean nonsense. That's all I've got for now, back to book #2.
