We're in Vancouver Canada!!!

So, last night we flew into Sam's home town....Vancouver Canada. We're here for a week, shooting 2 half hour shows! Today we went to China Town and saw a ton of really great & unique places. My favorite was this traditional Chinese medicine/herb store....& as the photos show, they sell some really interesting things; including Gecko on a stick! We also tried some great local food....Dim Sum, a Japa Dog (Japanese hot dog), and Poutine. It's been a great food day! Gay Pride Parade

On Saturday we got to ride in the Gay Pride Parade. Sam was joined by Channel 4's John Wisebarth...we all rode in a pink Thunderbird convertible. It was such is hot day....but so much fun!! Thanks to everyone who came out and showed their support! I'm working on some fun video I took at the parade...stay tuned.

Sam's Chili Corn Bread & Honey Butter

In the last show Sam made Chili Corn bread & it's so simple to make & so delicious!! Here's what you need....

Ingredients
1- Box of Corn Bread Mix
3-Tbs of Chili Powder
1/2- Stick of soft butter
2- Tbs honey

Steps
1. Follow directions on corn bread mix box. Once mixed add Chili Powder (more is better).
2. Follow corn bread baking directions & bake until golden brown.
3. Mix butter & honey, set aside.
4. Spread honey butter on warm corn bread & enjoy.

We shot our new show Asian BBQ Day this week. It will debut next Sunday, July 19th @ 5:30 & 7pm. Sam made some really amazing food: Marinated & Grilled Shrimp, Asian Style Burger, and Chinese BBQ Ribs!
